Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: July 23, 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases and commissions from [Business name] ("I", "me"), operated by Karlīna Anna Dzene, registered in Latvia. By purchasing a product or booking a custom project, you agree to these terms.

1. What I offer

Custom design projects — fully custom, hand-drawn wedding stationery and illustrations, designed to your commission (invitation suites, full stationery suites, custom illustrations, monograms, card decks and similar).

Digital templates — ready-made, editable design templates delivered as digital files.

All products are delivered digitally. I do not offer printing. Printing recommendations are provided as guidance only.

2. Booking a custom project

A custom project is confirmed when both of the following are complete:

  1. A signed agreement between us, and

  2. Payment of a 50% deposit for custom invitation and day-of stationery packages, or 100% for custom illustration commissions.

The deposit reserves your dedicated design week. The remaining 50% is due on delivery of final files, before final files are released.

Prices are as quoted at the time of booking. Quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.

3. The design process

Custom projects are designed within a dedicated design week (or split design periods where agreed). Before the design week, you will receive a survey to gather your details, story and preferences. The information you provide forms the agreed scope of the project.

Revisions. Custom projects include up to three (3) rounds of proofs. A round of proofs means a full review of the presented designs with your consolidated feedback. Minor text corrections during the design week do not count as a revision round.

Scope. The number of designs and illustrations included is stated in your agreement. Work beyond the agreed scope — including additional designs, additional illustrations, changes of creative direction after approval, or redesigns based on references provided after work has begun — is charged at €50 per hour, agreed with you before the work is done.

Your part. Timely feedback keeps your project on schedule. If feedback is not received within 2 business days during an active design period, the timeline may shift or the project may be delivered based on the most recent approved direction.

Materials you provide. You confirm that any photos, text or reference materials you supply may lawfully be used in your commission. I do not reproduce other artists' work.

4. Delivery

Final files are delivered digitally as high-resolution files and/or editable Canva templates, as stated in your agreement. Editable templates allow you to update text and details yourself after delivery.

I remain available for reasonable minor tweaks (text updates, small adjustments) up until your wedding or event date, as described in your agreement. New designs or significant changes after project completion are quoted separately.

5. Printing

I deliver print-ready files but do not provide printing services. You are responsible for arranging printing. Colours may vary between screens and print, and between printers; I am not responsible for print quality, printing errors, or third-party printing services. I strongly recommend ordering a printed proof before a full print run.

6. Templates

Digital templates are delivered automatically or within the stated timeframe after purchase. Templates are customisable by you (text, colours, layout within the template). I do not provide free customisation, previews, or edits of templates before or after purchase unless offered as a separate paid service.

7. Cancellation and rescheduling

By you. If you cancel a custom project before the design week begins, the deposit is retained, as it reserves a limited design slot that cannot usually be resold. If you cancel after work has begun, all work completed to date is charged, with a minimum of the deposit. One rescheduling of your design week is possible free of charge with at least 14 days' notice, subject to availability.

By me. If I am unable to deliver your project due to illness or circumstances beyond my control, I will offer the earliest possible new design period or a full refund of amounts paid for undelivered work.

8. Liability

My liability for any claim connected to a purchase or commission is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase or commission. I am not liable for indirect losses, printing costs, event costs, or third-party services. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Intellectual property

All designs and illustrations remain my intellectual property. Your rights to use them are set out in the Copyright & Licensing terms, which form part of these Terms & Conditions.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. EU consumers retain any mandatory consumer protections of their country of residence. Disputes will first be addressed in good faith between us; EU consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/odr).
